1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using Travel Juicer ("the App", "we", "us", "our"), you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
You must be at least 16 years of age (or 13 if you are located outside the European Economic Area) to use Travel Juicer. By registering, you confirm you meet the applicable age requirement.
2. Use of the App
Travel Juicer is a group travel planning tool. You may use it to:
- Create and manage trips with your travel companions
- Track expenses, bookings, itineraries, and activities
- Use the AI assistant to plan and manage your trip
- Import booking confirmations by email or file upload
- Discover travel recommendations and affiliate booking links
You agree not to misuse the App, attempt to access it in unauthorised ways, use it for any unlawful purpose, or violate any applicable law or regulation.
3. User Accounts
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for:
- Keeping your login credentials secure and confidential
- All activity that occurs under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account
You may not share your account with others or create accounts for the purpose of impersonating another person or entity.
You may delete your account at any time from the Profile tab in the App. Upon deletion, all your data will be removed within 30 days. See our Privacy Policy for details on data retention.
4. Trip Content & Data
You own the content you create in Travel Juicer (trip names, itineraries, expenses, notes, etc.). By using the App, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store, process, and display your content solely to provide the service to you and your group members.
You are responsible for any content you share with other trip members. Do not upload or share content that is illegal, infringing, defamatory, or violates the privacy of others.
If you forward booking confirmation emails to our import service, you consent to our processing of that email content for the sole purpose of extracting structured booking data. Raw email content is discarded after parsing.
5. AI Assistant
The AI assistant is powered by Google Gemini 2.5 Flash via Google's Gemini API. When you use the AI chat, your messages and relevant trip data are sent to Google's servers for processing.
Important limitations:
- AI responses are generated automatically and may occasionally be inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated.
- Always verify critical travel information (visa requirements, prices, schedules, health and safety notices) with official and authoritative sources.
- The AI does not make bookings on your behalf — all booking actions are performed by you through third-party providers.
- Do not share sensitive personal or financial information (passport numbers, credit card details, etc.) in the chat.
AI-generated content does not constitute professional travel, legal, medical, or financial advice.
6. Advertising & Affiliates
The free version of Travel Juicer is supported by advertising. On mobile, we use Google AdMob to display rewarded and interstitial ads. You may be asked to watch an ad to unlock additional AI messages.
On the web version, we use Google AdSense to display advertisements. Ad personalisation is subject to your cookie consent choices.
We participate in the Travelpayouts affiliate network. When you click booking links in the App (hotels, flights, activities, car hire, etc.), we may earn a commission from the booking provider at no additional cost to you. These affiliate relationships do not influence the recommendations we show you.
7. Booking Links
Booking links in Travel Juicer (hotels, flights, activities, car hire, transfers) are provided for convenience only. We are not a travel agency, tour operator, or booking platform. All bookings are made directly with third-party providers and are subject to their terms and conditions.
We are not responsible for:
- The accuracy of prices, availability, or descriptions shown by third-party providers
- Any bookings made through linked providers
- Trip cancellations, changes, or disputes with booking providers
8. Limitation of Liability
Travel Juicer is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including:
- Trip disruptions, cancellations, or missed connections
- Financial losses arising from booking decisions
- Inaccurate AI responses or recommendations
- Temporary unavailability of the App or its features
- Loss of data due to technical failures
Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (or €10 if no payment was made).
Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
9. Changes to the App
We may modify, update, suspend, or discontinue any part of the App at any time. We will give reasonable notice for significant changes that materially affect your use of the App or your data.
We may also update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and notify you via the App or email. Continued use after the effective date of changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
10. Termination
You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete Account.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you:
- Violate these Terms of Service
- Engage in fraudulent or abusive behaviour
- Use the App in a way that harms other users or the service
On termination, your data will be handled as described in our Privacy Policy.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the European Union and the Kingdom of Spain, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Spain, except where applicable EU consumer protection law provides otherwise.
If you are located in the European Union, you may also have the right to use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
